Or what is addiction for you? What can make you dependent or have you ever been?

For me personally, I associate it with giving up something of my own self-determination. That means I can’t decide on my own at a certain time or moment. I cannot dispose of something on my own.

I have to rely on someone and go along with it. For a period of time.

The feelings I associate with this are constricting, unfree, not acting on my own, makes me feel insecure, feels debilitating.

Why? Because after my experience in my life, first of all, I didn’t want to have the feeling of being dependent on someone anymore. So what is happening to me , in me? My inner fear and the memories and the past are coming up again, I might become dependent again, it might slow me down in my independence, I might rely too much on the other person, I might not be self motivated.

Just a few thoughts that occupy my mind and I relate to this.

So what would be better to think and feel?

I can tell you that sometimes it is moments and happenings and changes that you can get involved in dependency. What can’t be more beautiful to take these moments as your task to reflect exactly your abilities, your resources and your values and then implement them for yourself?

Little impulse for your path:

Nothing is worse than losing your faith in yourself, so even if it feels far from your path, your vision, find it in yourself to remember why exactly you started with this once? What moved you to know yourself better? What moved you to listen to your heart? What moved you to not stand still?

What was the trigger behind it? Why exactly you should pursue this further and why exactly you are right? And why you also infect the others with it?

With my heart

And see you soon

Your Kirsten

Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)

First, the questions for you: How does the word addiction sound to you?
